Dorcas Threads

Dorcas (also known as Tabitha) was a seamstress during biblical times; Acts 9:36-42. Dorcas Threads is the story of my creative nature; my designs in thread and cloth, occasionally with other mediums thrown in - paint or beads. Come on in, sit a spell and enjoy. I'd love to know what you think!

I call myself Dorcas
I live in Northern, Ontario, Canada
I was the youngest of seven, five of us are girls. We all learned to sew at a young age and several of us have made our living by sewing. I used to own a tailor shop and have made everything from wedding gowns to christening gowns. I must say, I like the christening gowns best!
